Transistor checks the mime type of the entered stream URL. Only if the mime type check returns a supported stream format the save button is activated. You need to have an internet connection for that. That may be the issue here . you screenshot shows that airplane mode was on.

Airplane mode was enabled alongside wi-fi as the active net connection (internet connection is available). Stream URLs are all supported (no issues with playback) and most edits where this issue is present involves only the renaming of the stream and not the URL.

Same issue here. Honestly, I think Transistor should not check the MIME type of the entered stream URL at the time of entry and just report the error when I try to play the wrong / missspelled / non-existing / etc. URL.
I was trying to edit a streamtheworld.com server (just the first five digits that seems to be dynamically allocated, for the same station) and the grayed out button is irritating.

Also, when I tried to add a new station, on entering https://24973.live.streamtheworld.com:443/XHMFM_SC Transistor just crashed.
