Hi @AlphaElwedritsch

For me the issue is fixed. Can you share a radio stream that displays "No Title" here? I would like to find the bug, but as long as I cannot reproduce it, this is very hard.

Not on Lockscreen or Quicksettings, there it is OK

See pictures

The one AOD is 4.1.1 (working) -> second picture
The other AOD is 4.1.3 (not working) -> last picture

Thank you! I did not understand what you meant by Always On Display. I had not turned on that feature in the past. Now I know what to look for.

I am not sure.

I asked the media3 team for help / information.

Let's see if they have any suggestions.

This issue seems to be gone with the release 4.1.4. 🤔
If the radio station provides a title of the current song, both is shown on the AOD now (Pixel 7, Android 13).

If no title information is available from the stream, the AOD shows "No title", but the station name is shown below.
The media control notification just shows the radio station and nothing for the title and Transistor itself shows the station name two times, i.e. the empty title is replaced by the station name.
Maybe you could also show the station name as title in the media control notification in this case? Perhaps this will also show the station name instead of "No title" on the AOD then?

What is shown on the AOD is determined by the new media3 framework Transistor is using. I am glad that it now works - i just confirmed it on my device.

The "No title" when no metadata is available does not come from Transistor. This is either a platform choice, or something that media3 add. I have no idea how to change that. That's why I would like to close this bug report.
