This is a good example of a privacy policy made by another privacy front end:

My other frontend also has a privacy policy page similar to Apple's App Privacy section but focuses on data collection by instance operators.

But can you remove the eye icon next to "Privacy" for the site to be more lightweight?

On uBlock Origin, I blocked icons with no-remote-fonts rule.

Icons are also used on other pages and most people don't block fonts, so they won't be removed. The CSS option font-display could be set to block but I'm not sure if this would work if you block fonts.

I am okay with other icons such as source code icons. But I don't see a reason to really add the eye icon next to "Privacy" But this is just my personal view anyway. Maybe the public is okay with the eye icon. If other people are okay, feel free to close this issue.

Removing the icon for the privacy page would also need the source code icon to be removed for consistency.

But how eyes are related to privacy, please? Do eyes mean a person following and tracking you?

You can do that if you like. This is not really important.

Thanks to your new privacy policy update, I found out what data does rimgo.pussthecat.org collected! Grateful for your work!

Comparing to offical instance:

Now I am informed thanks to your work and I will move from that pussthecat.org instance to a different one. (At least, pussthecat.org is transparent about it!)

I think every other front-ends should have privacy policy more focused on the instances like yours. Most front-ends' privacy policies only focuses on the code itself.

@HexagonCDN The official instance's details need a update, it currently collects anonymous usage statistics to help us prevent abuse. The one for Librarian is up to date https://lbry.bcow.xyz/privacy
