User configuration

It is possible to change how TBlock works by editing a configuration file. It is located in /etc/tblock.conf on UNIX and under %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\TBlock\conf.ini on Windows.

Here is the default configuration:

# Default TBlock configuration
# Learn more: https://codeberg.org/tblock/tblock/wiki/Configuration

[default]
# Change the default IPv4 redirecting address for blocked domains
default_ip      =   127.0.0.1

# Change the default IPv6 redirecting address for blocked domains
default_ipv6    =   ::1

# Allow IPv6 rules and IPv6-based blocking (0 to disable, 1 to allow)
allow_ipv6      =   0

The first variable (default_ip) is the default IP where to redirect blocked domains. You can change it, for example, to 0.0.0.0.

The second (default_ipv6) is the default IPv6 address where to redirect blocked domains. It is only useful if the third variable is enabled.

The third (allow_ipv6) is set to 0 (false) by default. To enable it, set its value to 1 (true). It allows domains to be redirected to IPv6 and IPv4 both, and not only IPv4.
