When booting it connects to its default bookmarks downloading a sort of favicons like freenode.net, chromium.org, eff.org and so on.

Deleting them only remains one connection to bromite.org in order to update adblocking filters. Anyway, you can disable it in Settings/Adblock settings.

BTW, Google is the default search engine. You can change it.

No trackers embedded.
