YouTube tracks outbound-links in the description box.
Spam bots, low-quality content and an algorithmic home-feed.
Forced sign-up for a Google account — to comment or like videos. PeerTube uses the ActivityPub protocol. Comment using Mastodon, Lemmy or (any app on the fediverse)
