also please consider a patreon page for donations, this makes it incredibly easy for people to help you out in your efforts.

In short: Your uMatrix rules should look like this:

* yastatic.net css allow
* yastatic.net script allow

The rules are automatically converted by uMatrix, but instead of * netdna.bootstrapcdn.com script allow, it looks like * netdna.bootstrapcdn.com * allow.

The uMatrix syntax is: source hostname {white spaces} destination hostname {white spaces} [request type {white spaces} [action]]

Instead of explicitly allowing only scripts from these CDNs, you allow all sources. (Cookies, Stylesheets, Images, Media, JavaScript, XHR, Frames and other). I think it's better to change your rules and allow only scripts and stylesheets. All other data types are not necessary.

Note: I am not actively using uMatrix, I only have the information from the documentation.

I noticed that I have to modify the rule generator for uMatrix so that not only scripts but also stylesheets are generated. 👍

I'm not a fan of patreon. I think a SEPA transfer and crypto currency is still the most data-friendly way to donate. I also donate for other projects and use almost only SEPA. 😉

Without your contribution I would not have noticed the incomplete rule generator. Thank you too. 😉

Very welcome, I am curious if the updated rules will require manual removal of previous rulesets or if it is no problem if there are duplicates

This is not a problem, because uBlock and uMatrix filter the double entries 😊
