It'd be nice to be able to view record personal bests for individual exercises. Things like most weight in a single set, longest time or distance, etc. along with the date and active routine when the record was achieved.

A record estimated one-rep max would be cool too.

I would love to have this feature as well. At the moment "insights" is only a volume graph with no data points shown.

I think for many the main priority in the gym is projected strength (to keep track of progressive overload, even for hypertrophy). So having calculated 1RM would be incredible.

thank you for creating the best gym app out there!!!

For convenience, here is Epley's formula:

1 RM= w*(1+r/30)

where w is weight and r is number of reps.

let me know if I can help (unfortunately I only know js, shell, python)

thank you!!

second edit: an easy way to implement that would be to be able to change the top graph in insights, by tapping on it. And that would be a menu from which one can choose 1 exercise for which to keep 1rm monitored and graphed. seems a simple idea (probably requires just accessing the workout log dictionary, then applying the 1rm formula at each workout session, then display the results in the graph)

@aleksf thanks for sharing the 1RM formula, I didn't know that. I'm going to add exercise based 1RM charts eventually, along with charts plotting volume/reps/weight/time/distance. Here's a mockup design (subject to change).

By the way, the chart in the insights tab shows the workout duration. Does it not show any data points for you? That seems odd.

The mockups are great, thank you for sharing.

Yes, I do see data points in workout duration, I didn't have enough data before.
I see a purple curve overlapped to a gray curve, I'm not sure what each represents tho. What is the purple one?

Also, I thought it was volume but it represents workout duration, which is arguably less interesting than volume to track progress.

Looking forward, I see the app growing a lot and it has the premise to outcompete all open-source and proprietary ones, because the latter are often bloated with useless features.

I didn't have enough data before.

ok, i was worried there might be a bug but it's all good then. In the current version, the app tells you if there's not enough data points.

What is the purple one?

It's just a 3 day average.

You're right, I just added workout duration first because it was easiest.

Thanks for the kind words, but don't expect too much! Development speed isn't always consistent because I'm just making this app as a hobby :)
