In original owntracks, there was intent that can control mode: org.owntracks.android.CHANGE_MONITORING

That intent seems not to be working in nexttracks. Is there any possibility to enable it, or to control mode from outside by automation?

Thanks, Jan

Have you tried org.nexttracks.android.CHANGE_MONITORING? I changed all occurrences OwnTracks to NextTracks where it made sense.

Hello, I tried, not working. Probably the fork has been done before this feature was added to owntracks, so it is not in nexttracks.

I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you, but I've just tried it and it works.
For instance, running

am start-service -a org.nexttracks.android.CHANGE_MONITORING --ei monitoring 2

in an adb shell sets my monitoring mode to move mode.
