General information

  • Version: 3.1.0 (12-19 beta)
  • Device: Galaxy S8
  • Android Version: Android 9
  • Server name: self hosted
  • Server software: ejabberd 21.12
  • Installed server modules: Not entire sure what to check in regard to this issue

Between 2 clients, myself and my son. We're both running Blabber (same version). We can see below our name if either of us are online, recently, or X minutes/hours/days ago.

The issue is, when my son (or either of us) ALSO signs on using another XMPP client, such as Gajim, that presence indicator immediately goes away, only to come back when Gajim is closed.

I'm not sure what is going on, or if this is a Blabber or Gajim issue. Could someone please explain this behavior and perhaps a way to keep presence enabled? Or is this expected since there are now 2 clients and presence cannot be determined? Thanks.
