Quoting after writing should put the quote on top
When user starts to write a message and then quotes another message via the context menu, the quote is put where the cursor is.
I suggest to put the quote always on top of message, except when the quote is added by hand.
Hmm, I wonder if this is non-intutive or maybe I don't understand correctly. Maybe you can provide simple sketches?
When you start answering to a message and forgot to quote it, if you quote it after typing the answer, the quote will appear where the cursor is. But having first the answer and then the quote is strange and confusing.
Se the attached video
I don't like the idea, because maybe I want to quote several messages in one reply.
To workaround you problem, just move the cursor back to the top of your reply, quote the wanted message and go down again to your text.
I agree to bttr that this doesn't suit all usecases.
I have an idea: What if the ability to slide a message to the side was added, which would quite it(like in many well-known messengers)? (like #525) And then only this way one would achieve the quote always going to the top, no matter the cursor position.
And clicking the current quote option would put it where he cursor is.
What fo you think?
