Trying to read a Dorstmann LOG32TH is not successful. The Logger is not being recognized using release 1.12-58 installed via F-Droid on a Android 9 Samsung device.

Hm, it could be an Android 9 issue. I had hoped, that the App works now better with Android 9 with the latest release (58). But maybe it doesnt. Maybe the Dorstmann LOG32 is different (has a new version released) compared to the LOG32 which I adapted the app for in 2011. Many loggers got an upgrade by the manufacturer. Is you logger an old one or rather new?

The LOG32 used to look like this one here:

Maybe you have this one:

https://dostmann-electronic.de/produkt/log-32-th-pdf-feuchte-temperaturlogger.html

which is new and which the app has not been adapted to.

Yes, it is the Dostmann (sorry I misspelled it with r) logger. Was not aware that there is another logger with the same name.

Yea, there is a lot of confusion with the logger names. Sorry for that. We have not adapted the app for all of these new Logger versions. They are all different. But maybe in time and with the users help we can support more of them.

Thanks for the clarification, I had hoped the app would support my logger, because I don't have windows and wine will not recognize the logger either.
Here is a dmesg log for the Dostmann Log32.

Hi, Ok. This looks promising. The Logger obviously behaves as a USB-Stick (Mass storage drive). You should be able to mount it (linux) or open it under Android (I recommend the App: Total Commander). The interesting thing would be: what files can you see on the logger? Also: for the new Voltcraft Loggers they also use the USB-Drive interface and offer a pdf-fuction as well. Maybe it is similar. Is there a online cofiguration tool available for your logger? (Using the web-Browser).
