Is it possible a Friendica account to verify?
I don't know how is the best way but this would be one way to fill the profile with user-defined fields: https://f.freinetz.ch/profile/kubikpixel/profile

After some digging, yes, we can verify Friendica accounts! \o/

However, it seems there will be some resistance. Friendica provides the following public API endpoint: /api/users/show.json

So, for your acccount, that would be: https://f.freinetz.ch/api/users/show.json?screen_name=kubikpixel

As you can see, it provides plenty of information! But it omits your OpenPGP field as well as the Keyoxide one. The "description" field is present. We could then add our PGP fingerprint to that description and it would work just fine.

Alternatively, we could verify the account using an individual status post (just like Reddit and Twitter). That could be the cleanest way in this scenario.

@yarmo any plans to add friendica to https://docs.keyoxide.org/key-management/adding-claims/?

One finding while testing was https://github.com/friendica/friendica/issues/11020 which has since been addressed.
