Zentoo Overlay

The Zentoo Overlay is my personal repository.

Adding your Packages to Zentoo

To add your packages to the zentoo overlay, you must meet these requirements:

  • your package ebuild must have an open source license, BSD, MPL, GPL, MIT, FDL, are some examples of licenses I approve.

If your package meets these requirements, please make a pull request with the ebuilds needed and I will merge it.

How to install Zentoo

To add Zentoo to your system, you are going to want to make a file named /etc/portage/repos.conf/zentoo.conf with this configuration file in it:

[zentoo]
priority = 50
location = /var/db/repos/zentoo
sync-type = git
sync-uri = https://codeberg.org/itzzenxx/zentoo
auto-sync = Yes

now you need to sync the repository, you can use emaint sync -r zentoo or emerge --sync to get the repository synced.
