General purpose use cases for the quiz. #28

Yesterday it occurred to me that, given how easy it is to configure Q&A's as JSON, the quiz after the celebration day can be repurposed for general application.

I imagine giving it a range of questions that are particularly interesting for newcomers (from Birdsite etc.) and focus on features, functionality, culture, fediquette, etc.

Also I was approached by people behind the official EU pilot for organizing some kind of training on the do's and don'ts of operating a fedi channel, and how it is different from running corporate social media channels. A good quiz can be part of that.

There can be several different kinds, for different purposes.

@circlebuilder Yes indeed. The code is AGPL, so forks are welcome! Maybe the questions format can be expanded to include screenshots of network interfaces, etc. We went only for the basics in order to deliver on time.

Oh, just see that the repo is 'Private'. I just shared a link to this issue elsewhere.

@circlebuilder We decided to make the repo public not on the release day but a couple days later. When most people have played with the questions in the browser. Not to tempt techies to go get easy answers from a repo :)

@circlebuilder JFYI the repo is now public.

I'm not sure how extensible this codebase is. We were solving a specific problem and didn't think of how this can be repurposed later. Also, I'm new to JS and the stack we used, so probably did everything wrong :) You might be better off taking the inspiration and implementing your own thing.

I made a note on the Discuss Social Coding forum, as a reminder for future uses of the quiz.
