The list need to be parse and mark to update projects that are inactive for over a year.

Inactive projects get a 👻 emoji and are grouped and listed alphabetically at the bottom of the category in which they appear.

I wonder how easy it would be to create a script to automate this for all the delightful repos?

I have thought about this also. And there are other automations that might be handy, as well as making list entry submission easier for non-technical folks and easing merging / list maintenance.

The freedom in the markdown formats used in the various lists makes this hard to do.

There's an idea on Social Coding forum ASK: Aggregating Software Knowledge, in turn inspired by a topic I created before at SocialHub, where a whole different approach to list maintenance is supported. And it would be a great federated app as well. Has many different use cases, and is where a future for the Delightful Project may be.
