Orienteering control point generator
This program generates coordinates of random control points within a specified area, and produces a KML-file of the course. This KML file can be used to plot an orienteering course on a map, and is especially suited for doing "no flag" orienteering with apps such as MapRunF, where the app uses the GPS of your cell phone to give notification when the control point has been reached.
The control points generated by this program have some restrictions on them to improve usability:
- Exclude points on water (oceans, lakes etc.).
- TODO: Exclude points on buildings.
- TODO: Exclude points in extreme gradients (cliffs etc.).
