Is it possible to order i3 workspaces alphabetically? #17

In i3bar, the workspaces are ordered alphabetic(numeric)ally. For example, if I start with workspace 1, then go to workspace 3, open some window, then go to workspace 2, the order of the workspaces in i3bar comes out to be 1, 2, 3 which makes more sense to me.

Doing the same with yambar gives the workspaces in order 1, 3, 2. Would it be possible to have the behaviour of i3bar in this respect?

Thanks for your work. Really liking yambar.

Edit: This is yambar version 1.5.0.

Yeah, that should be definitely be possible. Probably add a new option that controls how the workspaces are (not) sorted.

This could go well with an option to display i3's active mode, like resize.

@JorwLNKwpH that should be fairly easy to add. Would you mind opening up a separate issue for that, and if you have any specific use cases in mind?

woops, sorry for the noise xD

Interestingly enough, seems like swaybar orders numerically but not alphabetically.
