Update 2022-04-07

After months of being completely inactive on Instagram out of personal decision, I have finally decided that I have no remaining motivation to continue with the development of this app, as I no longer use it. I sincerely regret all the unfulfilled promises I made in 2021: I failed y’all, and made you wait a long time for nothing. I hope someone else takes over the development. The Codeberg repo will become a public archive, for those who wish to take the code and make it great again.

For now, all I can say is, please consider migrating to PixelFed or any other decentralized and open platform. Instagram future is not bright for us, privacy conscious people.
