Currently it seems that you always have to log in to the nextcloud first, then syncronize the recipe folder and then you can click on syncronize in the nextcloud cookbook app.

Then the other recipes or the changes will also appear.

But the very first time you start the app, you select your nextcloud and then the recipes folder.

Could this be synchronized differently in the future ?

It could be but not soon in the future.
That is difficult to directly synchronize with the nextcloud server, so I will currently keep synchronising the folder on sd card.
So this means, that you need the files on the storage synchronized to show it in my app.
