None of my recipes have any images now. In the recipes list, there is about a fourth of each row on the left reserved for pictures, but it's just empty space. No image is displayed after selecting a recipe, either.

There are 3 different jpg images in each recipe's folder, though (full.jpg, thumb.jpg and thumb16.jpg). The images open fine in any photo viewer.

While the categories all contain their respective contents now, I still have no images with the latest version from F-Droid 😿

(neither in the overview, nor in the detail view, and also not after reinstalling)

In version 2.0.0 I really found a bug, but the correction has worked with several android versions in emulator and on my smartphone.
Can you open the images with a viewer? They must be synchronized like the json files.
It surprises me, because the file urls work like the json files and the image views should have the correct data now.

If the images are synced, we must try it with a debug version and the logs of the app. At the moment, I have no idea of any bug in showing the images.

Yes, the image files are all on the device, in the folders where they belong :-(

I can open them in the Nextcloud app and in the Simple Gallery app, as well as the 'Files' app that comes with LineageOS.

The Cookbook app crashes today each time I open it... might have something to do with WiFi being turned off and Nextcloud trying to reach the server.

BUT : (after reinstalling to get rid of the crashes) The 'Rezepte' folder can be accessed in two different ways from the folder chooser.

  • One can go via the direct 'nextcloud' item on the left menu (which I did before)
  • OR one can go via Android > Media > com.nextcloud.client > nextcloud > Account name > Rezepte. Doing that works! Not sure if there's a way to fix it in the app, or if maybe just documenting this is enough.

Good hint, the nextcloud folder does not work.
I wanted to look, if it can work or I must document that.
Thanks for your research.
