I just came across your app, very cool idea.

If you want you can use single sign on to directly fetch all receipts

If you need help, just ping me :-)

Hi, I just came across your app, very cool idea. If you want you can use single sign on to directly fetch all receipts - import SSO lib (https://github.com/nextcloud/Android-SingleSignOn/) - user then can pick an account of Android Files app - app retrieves receipts without hazzle of network stack If you need help, just ping me :-) Cheers Tobi (Nextcloud Files mantainer)

Yes, sorry, I internally reference this to Nextcloud File in opposite to Nextcloud Talk.

@TobiasKaminsky

you are the nextcloud talk developer?

I like this idea.
Then there is no need to navigate to the corresponding folder manually.
I guess #5 would be solved with this, too.

Would this be better done using API? See https://github.com/nextcloud/cookbook/issues/577

I am thinking of implementing that myself, but not sure if I will find enough time soon.

The API is nice, but there is also the problem with authentication. I would think, there must be a token send to the API everytime.
Perhaps I can combine the two ideas, but I also have almost no time to work on it.

I am working on this feature (slowly), here: https://github.com/timbze/nextcloud-cookbook-android/tree/feature/direct_api_connection

I have just gotten it to where I can retrieve a token (app-password) from Nextcloud, so now next I need to connect to recipe api and see how that works.

Nice :)
And speed doesn't care, I do not get it faster than you.

@timcode Today I had contact to one of the nextcloud cookbook developers (server).
He told me, that there are plans to change API and file structure.
Current API is Cookbook-API 0.0.2

As soon as I get news about the changes, I can inform you. I hope, it will not be too much changes to the current structure.
