Hi, thanks for making this, I found it on flathub. It's like Microsoft Gif Animator for Linux.

Is it possible that you can add an option to preserve transparency in images when the gif is exported?

I imported 2 PNGs, both with transparent background. When I export the gif, the image has a white background.

I have tried it and I got a transparent background. Can you upload your files here?

Image 1:

Image 2:
2

Output:
blinky

It shows transparent in the application itself but when I export it has a white background.

Nevermind. I was doing "export video" and selecting gif. If I do "Save as" and select gif I get a transparent background.
