I like the idea, especially of having (customizable?) Quick actions attached to the notification

Current master shows disconnect/connect/fetch activity buttons. I will take a look to adding some more information as proposed. Do you have an idea about how to organize the information in the notification? A mockup would be very welcome.

In the latest release the notification shows "Gadgetbridge" twice on Android 7. The app name is automaticly added: https://www.androidauthority.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Android-7.0-Nougat-review-bundled-notifications-Quick-Reply-840x494.jpg
When you remove the app_name you have more place for other information. You also might want to set the accent color.

@mueller-ma has a point. I've removed "Gadgetbridge" title, added the information to the content text and set the accent color. We have to keep the title on lower android versions, though.

We could also use BigText to show multiple lines on the expanded notification. Just a few mockups:

Also, @danielegobbetti any chance of showing the Connect button on the first startup? Currently after Gadgetbridge starts for the first time there are no buttons at all.

I would go for 1, but with material icons, not emojis. Maybe those emojis are not available everywhere.
The expanded one looks also good, but I would suggest to add a mute button.

I added the accent color and battery status to master . I have to admit that I don't like the accent color very much. As for the steps and Heart rate, we currently don't have that information hence it's not as easy/fast to add as the already added info.
