Casio GBX-100 Support for other/newer Casio watches

Quite some time ago, I acquired a Casio GB-5600B and a GB-6900B and added support for these watches to Gadgetbridge. Last week, I discovered some newer, more interesting Casio watches and ordered a GBX-100 (included step tracker!).

The protocol on the newer models seems to be way more complex than on the older series, but I'm already making some progress (pairing, initialization, time sync and notifications work).

  • Is anyboby else interested in later Casio models?
  • Which models are the most interesting?
  • What would be your preferred features?

I'd be happy if another user with a Casio joined the development effort as my Java/Android experience is limited.

Basically, my roadmap for the GBX-100 is:

I have no real interest in some of the features like tidal information or workout data. If there is demand (and if the rest works), we can try to add more support.
