I have a Mi-Band 4 and also can only get 2 vibrations, regardless of the count or pattern set.

I’ve been running periodic self compiled Master branch packages for a month, up to an including todays tag 1743934c79.

Vibration patterns are not supported on Bip and Mi Band 4.

I still have to move the MiBand / Amazfit settings to device specific settings to avoid confusion.

Vibration patterns are not supported on Bip and Mi Band 4.

Do you mean that it is not implemented in Gadgetbridge, or that the Bip and Mi Band 4 firmware does not support it?

Miband and Bip support it, at least in the oficial application.

Is there any plans to support it?

@koroki

Cool, if they are suppoted, I am happy to add support in Gadgetbridge.

If you can, please send me a bluetooth log when receiving a message with a custom pattern.

Can you show to me the way to log it?

In the Android Device Settings at the “Developer options” there should be an option “Bluetooth HCI Snoop Log” which creates a file /sdcard/Android/data/btsnoop_hci.log or /sdcard/btsnoop_hci.log.

Here the log created with amazfit bip with Notify-fitness app.
