I got Gadgetbridge from:
Your issue is:
I would like the option to configure which notification icon is used for notifications from a particular app.
The Amazfit Bip firmware resources contain a number of different icons (text, email, facebook, instagram, twitter, skype, qq, etc.), which are used when showing notifications on the watch. There is also a generic "app" icon, which is used for other apps.
For example I get notifications from Pushover, and I would like to select a different icon (such as the Skype icon) instead of the generic "app" icon.
It is even possible to edit the firmware resources on the Bip, allowing the icons to be replaced with custom ones (e.g. I could replace the Skype icon with a Pushover icon, etc.)
Configuration could be put in the "Notification blacklist" / "Notification filter" configuration, although I do not know if this is common for multiple devices (and icons are probably device specific).
Your wearable device is:
Amazfit Bip (HW0.11.19.5), BipOS 0.5.2 non-latin
Your android version is:
Your Gadgetbridge version is:
This would actually be a great option to have, and would eliminate the need for users to request app icon changes for their specific devices :)
I would love to have that feature. I have a mi band 4 and I was able to do that in Tools & Mi Band app, so I assume it would be possible here too.
