Before reporting a bug, please confirm the following:

  • I have read the wiki, and I didn't find a solution to my problem / an answer to my question.

I got Gadgetbridge from:

  • F-Droid
  • I built it myself from source code (specify tag / commit)

If you got it from Google Play, please note that version is unofficial and not supported here; it's also often quite outdated. Please switch to one of the above versions if you can.

Your issue is:

Is it possible to add support for Amazfit Verge smartwatch?

If possible, please attach logs! that might help identifying the problem.

Your wearable device is:

Amazfit Verge

Please specify model and firmware version if possible

Your android version is:

Galaxy S6, android 7.0

Your Gadgetbridge version is:

0.43.3

New issues about already solved/documented topics could be closed without further comments. Same for too generic or incomplete reports.

Hello, I installed latest Gadgetbridge app from F-Droid store and tried to pair it with my Amazfit Verge smartwatch, but the app is unable to detect the smartwatch. I would really like to use opensource product instead of giving all of the permissions to the original Amazfit app.

@iiiii532

We do not have the watch, are you able to build Gadgetbridge yourself?

If so I could create a test branch and ask you to do basic tests.

Hi @ashimokawa,

I have experience creating android apps, so I can build Gadgetbridge if needed. I could definitely try to do basic tests as I would love to have this watch supported on Gadgetbridge. Waiting for further instructions.
