Before reporting a bug, please confirm the following:

  • I have read the wiki, and I didn't find a solution to my problem / an answer to my question.

I got Gadgetbridge from:

  • F-Droid
  • I built it myself from source code (specify tag / commit)

If you got it from Google Play, please note that version is unofficial and not supported here; it's also often quite outdated. Please switch to one of the above versions if you can.

Your issue is:

Gadgetbridge supports customization of Mi Band 2 Button Action feature. Currently only music control is available as built-in presets, such as play/pause, track/volume control, etc.

Since Gadgetbridge can detect Mi Band 3's “Find Device” trigger and perform a response which rings and vibrates the phone upon request, I wonder if Gadgetbridge can do the same for Mi Band 2 via its Button Action trigger.

In other words, because Mi Band 2 doesn't have a baked-in “Find Device” feature unlike Mi Band 3, I think Gadgetbridge can simulate the same find-my-phone feature using Mi Band 2's Button Action trigger. Is it possible to just add the Gadgetbridge intent that reacts to Mi Band 3's “Find Device” trigger as Mi Band 2 Button Action preset?

Your wearable device is:

Mi Band 2

Your android version is:
