I got Gadgetbridge from:

  • F-Droid

Your wearable device is:

Mi Band 4 (non-NFC) FW 1.0.9.22

Your android version is: 10

Your issue is:

Is there any point to whitelisting watchfaces?

I understanding whitelisting actual firmware updates, but every single watchface seems to have a different “FW version”, which seems pointless to make a whitelist for, as I'd hope that an invalid/corrupted watchface would be promptly handled/discarded by the device itself.

I've flashed 6 watchfaces with the following versions without issues:

5011
23389
52345
58135
60070
61366

@COrn3j

Absolutely, this should be changed.

The code is derived from Mi Band 2 firmware flashing and there were no watchfaces.
