Your issue is:

I would love if Gadgetbridge could warn me with a beep when my heart rate drops below a minimum or exceeds a maximum. Maximum heart rate is already displayed in the live activity screen, so this should be possible. Currently, if I want to exercise in a set heart rate windows, I need two trackers: one for the min/max beeps, and another with Gadgetbridge for quantified self.

I vaguely remember some discussion about the accuracy of optical heart rate measurements?
