Before reporting a bug, please confirm the following:

  • [✓ ] I have read the wiki, and I didn't find a solution to my problem / an answer to my question.
  • [ ✓] I have searched the issues, and I didn't find a solution to my problem / an answer to my question.
  • [✓ ] If you upload an image or other content, please make sure you have read and understood the github policies and terms of services

Your issue is:

GB keeps losing connection with miband 2 and won't reconnect automatically.
I could not identify a reason why, disonnecting seems pretty random, not related for out of range event.
I have no problem reconnecting, just opening GB and clicking on "connect" will do.

I have checked similar issues but could not find any solutions. I have disabled a battery monitor i had been using, just in case, i have removed GB from power saving profile, i have tried to run phone at full power (i usually run it in power saving mode with no background sync). no improvement.

I had no problem with myfit, but i'd really like to keep this great open source application.

Available for further informations.

Your wearable device is:

myband2 fw 1.0.1.81

Your android version is:

6.0.1

Your Gadgetbridge version is:

GB version 0.31.3

Well, i just needed to file an issue, and the problem goes away... today connection has been reliable.

I am aware of other disconnection related issues. But then, if you have so many issues about disconnection, maybe it means it is an important problem for your user base ? Personnally i was almost ready to get back to myfit.

Anyway, keep it up and thank you !
