In order to get an overview where we need toupdate assets and what assets are needed I propose to have a list that people can expand:
taken care of so far:
- [x] menu-header #3
- [x] landing page #3
- [ ] loading animation #6
- [x] codeberg pages landing page #5
needs some love:
- [x] Blog https://blog.codeberg.org/ #9
- [x] Membership page https://join.codeberg.org/ #10
- [x] Mastodon https://mastodon.technology/@codeberg #11
- [x] Liberapay https://liberapay.com/codeberg #12
-> WE STILL HAVE A TWITTER ACCOUNT!?!
The Mastodon header also needs to get replaced with the header mray attached here.
The Mastodon header also needs to get replaced with the header mray [attached here](https://codeberg.org/Codeberg/Design/issues/11#issuecomment-68175).
For the time being we don't have better visuals that fit. Currently the bigger problem is inconsistency :P
We're also [not](https://mastodon.cloud/@Kodi) [the](https://fosstodon.org/@LimeSurvey) [only](https://mstdn.io/@Jami) [ones](https://mastodon.social/@GIbiz) doing that.
I'd very much like to not keep historical references on actively maintained and user facing places. Just the idea of announcing the adoption of a new logo, but keeping the old one alive on the anouncement platform seems odd to me…
If I'm not mistaken @mondstern wasn't opposed to paint the new one, too.
How long would that "time being" last?

i want to see this at the codeberg mastodon account
I would also be honoured if it could continue to be seen there. 😊

yes i painted with acryl for @codeberg

IIRC the fork animation is not deployed. I think we experimented with webm vs animated png and webm worked but not deployed yet AFAIK.
What is needed here?

I provided the asset, that switch could happen right now:
…not sure about how serious people are on not switching to the new logo.

@hw - With the new logo deployed on the site, could you please replace it for the Codeberg organization too? :)
@lhinderberger
Done

That would be a bit redundant, wouldn't it?

We're also not the only ones doing that.

anything left we have to do to close this?
the fork animation seems to be the only missing task…
As the logo is correct now everywhere I'll close this issue, for the quality of the fork animation there's still #6.
