Some open data progress
This builds upon #415, but with slightly different motivation.
We are currently preparing an update to the landing page which will resolve #14 by publishing some up2date numbers there.
It was often requested that we publish some more insights in data history, like "How many users are signing up", also viewing how that number changed.
I'm now looking for people to help us identify valuable information and publish them automatically.
We are currently using a simple script that counts the registration timestamps and calculates monthly growth rates this way. I had such a tool in mind that also auto-generates daily signup rates and other useful stuff, being automatically run by some schedule. The data could be pushed to a repo.
Anyone interested to work on that with us?
Excellent, I'm generally available to lend a hand in developing some of it. I am personally most interested in just having simple graphs for member/user/repo counts etc. and that data easily accessible (as experimentally laid out in https://codeberg.org/simonrepp/codeberg-graphs), but happy to hear other opinions!
Deleting a branch is permanent. It CANNOT be undone. Continue?
