Compare URLs that hang some browsers or computers #531

The equivalent of a 'git diff' command line shown through a browser at this URL:

https://codeberg.org/boud/gevolution/compare/0906a1e...fe756e7#diff-6

caused my browser (firefox-78) to hang and freeze my computer, and a colleague on a very likely different browser/host-OS/host-hardware combination had his browser freeze, requiring the browser process(es) to be killed manually. I currently have one tab in my browser that seems to correspond to a full load of the URL, but new loads are slow, give warnings, and I kill them off quickly to avoid needing a new reboot.

The git repository above is very likely to remain in place with the above commit IDs, so feel free to consider the URL as a test item for testing workarounds on browsers with modest (few Gb?) memory constraints.

[Comment/rant: This is not a high priority for me personally, but I can imagine that some people might use codeberg 'compare' URL browser freezes as an excuse for the tyranny-of-convenience - "but github always works" - without giving me the chance to reply that if the complainers donated a billion euros or so to the Codeberg citizens' association to fund servers and developers (and lawyers to defend free software), magnifying the budget by a factor of one (or ten?) million or so, then chances are that quite a few bugs would disappear sooner...]
