It looks like that it is possible to use “GitHub Desktop” with GitLab and Bitbucket accounts.

For GitLab see this (PullRequest) doc file 76db9e03ad/docs/integrations/gitlab.md

Isn’t GitLab gitea baseD?

Whould something like this work for Codeberg, too?

“Einstellungen > Anwendungen > Zugriffstokens verwalten” ?

I tested… The way described for GitLab doesn’t work for Codeberg. The access token has no effect.

But simply username and password (of Codeberg) works with “Git Hub Desktop”. Nice to know.

But “Git Hub Desktop” does store the password.

We should add “Git Hub Desktop” to our documentation.
