Browser crashes on accessing big files #201

I have tried to search for duplicates, but could not find any. When I open this file for example, firefox becomes unresponsive due to the file being too big. Maybe the maximum file size to be shown in the preview should be decreased? In GH at least I have no option to preview such a large file.

This seems to be a worthwhile enhancement to gitea, could you report this in the gitea issue tracker?

Another option btw could be to pass these particular files to an external renderer, maybe? Is it possible to "preview" these? If so, and there are tools that render these efficiently to HTML, a PR doing this very welcome!

Lazy loading would solve the problem

I've opened an issue on gitea's issue tracker, here. Maybe this issue needs to be tagged "gitea-related issue"?

browser is not crashing anymore - can I close this and upstream issue?

Well, I'd still like to see some limit before accessing very big files instead of loading half an hour, even if the browser can handle that 🙈

something like "infinite scrolling" (incremental loading) would be nice, otoh there probably should be a real use case for this before effort is warranted?
