I'd be nice if you could choose to import a label set from an existing repository where you already created your own ones.
Even better might be if you create user presets, so I can choose from my own presets instead from just the default ones.
I'd also be cool if you could upadate your label sets once you change the preset - without loosing the assigned labels in a project. I hope this is feasible.
Thank you very much for building codeberg!
nice idea! PR welcome!
I thought this works...
At least when creating a new repository sets can be imported AFAIK
I didn't figure out how. I created two test repositories, I once tried to import existing label sets while creation and then the preset option when no labels are already set.
I could only select one of the (= the only one) existing preset(s).
@fnetX, you are right, label sets are system wide and there is only one preset.
But there will be something similar in the next gitea release, called organization wide labels. More information here:
This is fine for me, but it'd be nice to also use personal labels for repos that aren't assigned to an organization.
I'll leave this open for discussion whether to add more support to it, you can close it if you think that the gitea update will be enough.
Because I'm curious: How long does it take until new features that are added to gitea are deployed on the codeberg instance?
No due date set.
