Some people were asking if I was still maintaining Invidition and if I had plans to do it.
The answer is that I never found the time to work on it again.
It's in a usable state for me since the beggining and I always created Invidition for my own purpose. As I stated when I created it, I built Invidition because no existing addon at this time was enough convicing to me.
I didn't want to make any request to YouTube, not even once.
So here we are. Simon Brazell made a great job with Privacy Redirect which seems to be a better version of Invidition.
I just installed it to try how it works. It looks perfectly fine to me and I think most users should install it instead of Invidition.
So. As for now, Invidition is deprecated. I don't recommand you to install it anymore.
As for now, if I need the need to enhance my experience with automatic redirection to services like Invidious, Nitter and Bibliogram, I would contribute to Privacy Redirect instead of Invidition.
As a final note, I never expected that Invidition become that popular. It was a great experience to build something usefull to people and convinced me to continue this way.
Thanks for that!
