Blocklist for shitty AI generated websites and articles

I recently noticed a lot of websites which clearly abuse LLM to generate low effort articles or complete websites. These sites don't provide any valuable Information, and are mostly superficial and decorated with bad AI generated images.

Apart from the fact that this development frightens me, I no longer wanted to waste my time on such websites. And because I was not able to find an existing currated list, I decided to make my own.

I don't actively search for shitty AI websites, but if I spot them, I add them to the list. Feel free to create a Pull Request or contact me if you would like to contribute links to the list: arraypirate.harsh722 AT passmail DOT net.

What kind of websites are on this list?

I am only adding sites that have clearly utilized LLM to create near-100% of content for their articles with little to no effort, which probably only exist to generate traffic and therefore advertising revenue.

This list doesn't block AI in general like uBlockOrigin-HUGE-AI-Blocklist.

How do I add this list to my Pi-hole?

1. Open your Pi-hole web interface
2. Go to: Group Management > Lists
3. Enter this URL https://codeberg.org/ArrayPirate/ShittyAiBlocklist/raw/branch/main/shittyAiBlocklist
4. Click: Add blocklist
5. Run pihole -g to update your gravity list

How do I add this list to uBlockOrigin?

1. Open the uBlockOrigin dashboard
2. Open the Filter list Tab and scroll down to click on Import list
3. Enter this URL https://codeberg.org/ArrayPirate/ShittyAiBlocklist/raw/branch/main/shittyAiBlocklist
4. Click on Apply changes
