mp3factory

MP3 Factory is a Bash shell script intended primarily for transcoding downloaded music files to MP3s and/or performing various operations on them before adding them to your collection. Several of the functions that MP3F is capable of are applicable to formats other than MP3 however. With the exception of transcoding non-MP3's to MP3, all of the tasks which it performs are lossless, meaning that there is no loss of sound quality.

The script is in early development.
